CARTERSVILLE, US. April 25th, 2024 - Fripp Forward, LLC is hosting the first-ever property owner's beach house auction of vacation rental homes on Fripp Island at FrippBeachHouseAuction.com.
Twenty-one homes are included in the auction, and they are offering more than 40 vacations to help raise money to defer legal costs for the case in current litigation against Fripp Island Resort's owners' various and multiple claims of exclusivity.
Representative members for Fripp Forward, LLC are property owners Joan Barnes, Philip Berlinsky, Chris Cromer, Mark Rosenberg, and Steve Shanks. It is Fripp Forward’s position that the resort’s claim of exclusivity affects every property, regardless of its type or how the owner(s) uses it. As the resort's lawyer wrote in his letter to Fripp Forward, "This is an island-wide issue," meaning it affects ~everyone~ who owns property on Fripp Island.
Proceeds from this auction will help fund legal expenses owners are incurring to protect property rights in the case that is currently in court:

Homes of all sizes on every part of the island are participating in the auction, said Joan Barnes. “100% of the sales after cleaning fees and taxes are deducted have been donated to support the legal fees of the case."
