California, US. 7th September 2023 - Questo has announced the launch of the Vampires vs Zombies Experience, an immersive event that will unfold in several cities and towns across the United States, just in time for the Halloween weekend, on Saturday night, October 28, 2023.
During this spine-tingling, heart-pounding experience, the streets of more than 150 cities across the US will become battlegrounds for vampires and zombies, plunging the attendees into a world where ancient foes collide.
The experience is described by the organizers as a mix between an outdoor escape room-style game, a scavenger hunt and an interactive tour of the city. With elements of cosplaying and role-playing also present.
In each city, hundreds of teams will choose sides (vampires or zombies) and compete against each other for survival. They will crawl the streets on foot looking for clues while solving interactive puzzles and challenges across the city.
The Vampires vs Zombies Experience promises to be an event where participants are not just spectators but active participants in the story.
“After the success of our Wizard of Oz Experience, we are excited to launch a new type of event just in time for Halloween, another season where Questo can bring its magic. Dark magic this time around. I look forward to seeing many happy families and groups of friends crawling the streets in October,” said Alex Govoreanu, CEO of Questo.
With an average duration of 90 minutes, people can choose to either compete against the clock (and hundreds of other teams) or just go at their own pace.
Dressing up for the Vampires vs Zombies Experience is highly recommended as participants can qualify for the $2000 costume contest or any of the other prizes (zombie apocalypse kit, life-sized coffin, lifetime supply of garlic and more).
The event is family-friendly but mostly adult-oriented, kids over 12 can participate if accompanied by adults.
