PHOENIX, USA. November 1st, 2023 - #YBL is reimagining the beauty industry with its innovative approach to delivering personalized beauty services anytime, anywhere. #YBL's vision is to create a network of dedicated beauticians (#YBL-ers) that can build their book on their terms–while ensuring that every woman gets access to whatever she needs to look and feel her best.
Founder, Kristyn Maddox, envisions #YBL as a platform that goes beyond traditional beauty services that are often siloed by service. The vision is to support women in creating their own, curated “glam squad” for whatever service(s) they need–across the United States with customer preferences and past appointments centrally managed.
Today, #YBL is offering the following services in the Phoenix and Las Vegas metros: makeup application, spray tanning, brow services, hair styling, unicorn braids, and permanent jewelry–with select merchandise in partnership with Craftbae, owned by LaKeera Slaughter. Currently #YBL is mobile, or on-location-based, but plans to expand further and introduce #YBL salons in the near future.
Beauticians, or #YBL-ers, are at the heart of #YBL. The platform is deeply inspired by the talented women who help us look and feel our best. For this reason, #YBL's focus is to elevate beauticians and give them the tools to enhance their craft, on their own terms. #YBL offers beauticians nearly all the equipment to support their services, which simultaneously creates consistency in the experience for the customer. Commission splits for services meet or exceed 50% when industry standards are often much lower.
Founder, Kristyn Maddox, said: "#YBL is my vision for creating an on-demand based, beauty-as-a-service model where women can access whatever service they need, anywhere. This business is inspired by the talented women I have seen in my lifetime, that are held back by unnecessary processes and unfair business models.
"#YBL is dedicated to elevating the beautician offering equitable pay, flexible hours, and meaningful benefits to help them build their clientele, and their finances on their terms to ultimately create a network that supports whatever service you need to live Your Best Life."
